One more prospecting trip
Once again I have ventured out in the Swedish wilderness in search for gold :-) This time I visited two locations, one that looked promising on the maps I studied during the winter and one "new" location.
The first was a bit of a disappointment, hardly no gravel/sand between/under rocks and boulders. But I spent 2.5 hours there and didn't find anything interesting.
So I decided to head back home but to drive another route and maybe stop if I saw some good place near the road. And that I did, a longer rapid with lot's of gravel/rocks. I stayed there and run about 15 buckets of classified gravel through the sluice. A did some fine panning and it didn't look too promising...
I will fine pan all the concentrate some evening and also post some pictures from this trip. Although I don't seem to find any gold I had a good time, lot's of fresh air, saw some forest birds, two vipers (the only poisonous snake we have here in Sweden), etc.
