Yet another prospecting trip

I have been eager to go on another trip and this morning I packed up my stuff and went. I drove up North for about 1.5 hours and went to a stream I visited this spring. I didn't find any gold then but lot's of black sand so I thought I would give it another try.

I spent six hours running some twenty buckets of classified gravel through my sluice. I did pan some concentrates now & then (when my back needed a rest ;-) and it didn't look too promising (to say the least).

But it was a nice day, great weather - over cast and not too warm - and hardly any mosquitos(!). I will add some photos later on...
