Photos from my last trip

I haven't been able to pan the concentrates I brought home the other day (work, work and even more work). But here are a few images:
The small trout that kept me company :-)

This is where I set up my sluice, a small "side arm" from the main stream served my purposes.

There were even streaks of black sand of top of the normal/regular sand after the last flooding...

I digged quite a lot around this log, both up and down stream from it.


Some day it would be cool to find some bed rock, but I think that I will mostly find streams that run in gravel/rocks - the ice age produced some really huuuge ridges/mountains made up by smaller rocks up here...
